大馬將再耗2億4千萬令吉巨資，派遣第二名太空遊客上太空站！這回除了表演太空拜真主阿拉和太空吃椰漿飯之外，還會締造什麼馬來西亞記錄大全？

尤其當政府剛剛宣布由於經濟困難而取消大專學生獎學金貸學金之際，忽然傳出政府決定耗資2億4000萬送第二個太空遊客（注意，是遊客，不是太空研究員）上太空進行完全不實際、只為虛榮好勝的計劃，人民能不氣到吐血嗎？想想看，2億4千萬可以幫助多少大專學生完成大學課程？

根據第一個被送上太空表演吃Nasi Lemak的馬來西亞《太空人》拿督賽姆沙發（當年花了國家5千萬令吉上太空旅遊10天後回來還封了拿督，但對國家科技發展一點貢獻都沒有，反而邀請他去演講的大專院校必須付演講費，給他賺了不少）說，經過將近10年的時間，百貨都漲價了，上一趟太空進行10天的旅遊計劃的費用已經遠遠不止5千萬，而是至少得花2億4000萬了。

不過拿督姆沙發表示，花這麼大筆的金錢是值得的。因為《這可以增加青少年對太空科技的興趣》。

或許拿督姆沙發說得有點道理，但是國家現在窮得連獎學金貸學金都發不出了，多少學生的大學夢將因此破碎了。他們連深造的能力都沒有，還談什麼科研開發太空技術？姆沙發坐在沙發上發表的偉倫，是務實還是浮誇？

實際上大家都看得很清楚，當年花了5千萬送他上太空，對國家有什麼實際的利益幫助？沒有，可說完全沒有；有的只是獲得世界紀錄大全記載《第一個在太空祈禱的穆斯林》、《第一個在太空表演吃Nasi Lemak的馬來西亞人》這些虛名罷了。要說真正獲得實際金錢利益的只有姆沙發本身；據說他從太空旅遊回來之後，國內許多大專院校邀請他去發表親身經歷都得付錢。

現在姆沙發又說他支持政府派出第二名《太空人》上太空的計劃，最主要的原因並不是在於什麼科研發展，而是《全世界大多數國家都只派過一個太空人上太空，如果馬來西亞能夠派出第二個，就領先很多國家了。》

哦，原來花2億4000萬白花花的鈔票，就只是為了《領先其他國家》而已。這就是巫統馬來人下虛榮心了，從來不要腳踏實地的做事，整天躲在冷氣房，發著各種白日夢；大馬人民有這種患上腦漿棉化的大頭症的領導人，是多麼可悲啊。

Next astronaut may cost RM240 million

PUTRAJAYA: The government would have to spend RM240 million to send another Malaysian astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS) for a 10-day trip.

National astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor said Malaysia need to set a clear objective if it intends to send another person into space.

How many JPA scholarships can the govt provide with RM240 million? Please do not pretend that we can handle space science if we can't even handle transparency or basic maintenance.

"The first programme was meant to inspire and to change the mindset of our younger generation to pursue the field of science," he told a press conference after making a courtesy visit to former premier Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad at Yayasan Kepimpinan Perdana here today.

Sheikh Muszaphar became the first Malaysian to travel to outer space when he followed a 16-crew expedition to the ISS on Oct 10, 2007.

He said Malaysia should not feel left out in the space race, as many other countries had also sent only one astronaut to space

"Out of the 34 countries that went to space, 25 countries have only sent one person to space," he said.

It is not about the numbers. Its about the objective, as it is very costly," he added.

Sheikh Muszaphar said any future space travel would have to wait until 2020 since all seats to outer space were fully booked, as currently only Russia has the capability to launch a person to space.

He added that there was no need to send a person to space solely for conducting experiments.

Sheik Muszaphar said if Malaysia wanted to conduct experiments in outer space, it could be done with the assistance of other space agencies such as the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
