巫統副主席拿督斯里沙菲益挑戰主席納吉和總秘書東姑安南：《我不害怕，有本事就開除我吧！》

巫統副主席拿督沙菲益今日在沙巴州仙本那出席一項活動，被記者詢問時公開宣示，他並不懼怕巫統黨內任何對付

他的行動。他認為自己並沒有做過任何違反黨紀的事。

《如果黨主席明明做錯了，我們卻不能夠批評指正，這是不對的。》他說：《如果黨認為我批評一馬公司420億債務醜聞和當主席私人戶口26億來歷不明的存款，就是觸犯黨紀的話，那我沒話好說。》

拿督斯里沙菲益也否認他知道傳說中可能會被對付的7人名單。他說：《我不想評論這個。我讓黨自己去決定我的去留問題。》

沙菲益強調：《我不認為自己有任何觸犯黨紀的地方，但是如果黨堅持以我質疑黨主席在一馬公司醜聞中到底扮演什麼角色，還有26億私人帳戶問題就形同觸犯黨紀的話，那就來吧！要怎樣處分我，我都沒有在怕。》

巫統總秘書東姑安南較早前表示，任何觸犯黨紀的黨員都將會面對紀律處分，包括可能被凍結黨籍，甚至被開除。

他說，他目前正在搜集相關7人的犯罪證據，一旦完成搜證，他將會把報告呈交給黨主席，由黨主席決定要不要交給紀律委員會。

政壇傳言，沙菲益就是其中一位面對東姑安南調查的《嫌犯》；另外6人分別是前巫統主席兼前首相敦馬哈迪醫生；巫統署理主席丹斯里慕尤丁；前吉打州務大臣丹斯里沙努西；前部長丹斯里再努丁麥丁；現任巫統蕉賴區部主席拿督賽阿里；及現任雪州大港區部主席、巫統紅衣山番領袖惹瑪。

巫統黨內消息透露，東姑安南目前正在想盡辦法安插罪名，以求一舉煮死上述7人，

將他們開除出黨。但是截至目前為止，東姑安南手頭上的證據還不足以讓這7人構成被開除的罪名。

然而，納吉、阿末扎希和東姑安南也很清楚，敦馬這些元老一日不除，納吉就一日不得安穩；而黨內對納吉的不滿聲浪也將越來越強。

而較早時，敦馬哈迪在前往接受警方錄取口供的時候也已經公開宣示，納吉有本事就將他開除出黨，他個人是不會退黨的。《這是我的黨，憑什麼要我退出？》

至於慕尤丁的態度也是漸漸轉向強硬，他堅持自己是本著愛黨的心態才站出來說出基層黨員的心聲；如果這也算錯，他無話可說。

Umno vice-president Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal today said he was leaving it to the party to decide on his fate following rumours that he was one of seven leaders in danger of being suspended.

Shafie, when met, refused to confirm or deny if he knew the identities of the seven Umno members, saying that it was up to the party to deliberate on the matter.

"I don't have to comment on that, I just leave it (to the party)," he told reporters in Semporna, Sabah today.

It was widely reported that the seven members were currently under investigations over their remarks in openly criticising the party and might face suspension.

Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said any Umno member found to have violated the party's constitution would face suspension.

He said as soon as his office concluded the probe, the names would be sent to Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who is also the prime minister, before being forwarded to the disciplinary board to decide on the next course of action.

Shafie is one of several Umno leaders who have been vocal in voicing their criticism against the troubled 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) and was removed from Cabinet along with former deputy prime minister and Umno deputy president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin in July.

Aside from Shafie and Muhyiddin, other names speculated to face action were former Umno president Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, former minister Tan Sri Zainuddin Maidin, former Kedah menteri besar Tan Sri Sanusi Junid and division chiefs Datuk Jamal Md Yunos (Sungai Besar) and Datuk Seri Syed Ali Alhabshee (Cheras).

Meanwhile, party sources said the office of Tengku Adnan was looking into all possible offences committed by the seven members.

"They are still looking into this matter at the secretary-general's office to determine what these leaders did wrong," the source told The Malaysian Insider.

Dr Mahathir, Malaysia's longest-serving prime minister, has been criticising Najib over his alleged mismanagement of the country, from financial irregularities in 1MDB, which is the latter's brainchild, to the RM2.6 billion donation deposited in Najib's private accounts.
