KUALA TERENGGANU: Terengganu police chief Rosli Ab Rahman said the reading of the 『Yasin』 by school students in the emergency lane of the East Coast Expressway 2 (LPT2) is against the law.

（登嘉樓3日訊）根據登嘉樓總警長羅斯里受訪時說，有關學生在東海岸高速公路LPT2的緊急通道上祈禱，是觸犯法令的。

He said although they meant well, the organisers should have picked a strategic location such as nearby rest and recreation (R&R) areas.

他說雖然他們的這樣做的念頭是好的，但主辦者應該挑選更恰當的地點進行，譬如在大道休息站。

「Those who want to read 『Yasin』 and perform 『solat hajat』 must follow procedures by getting the permission of the Malaysian Highway Authority.

就算他們要進行禱告，也要遵守大馬高速公路當局的條規。

「The emergency lane is only for stalled vehicles,」 he said when commenting on the reading of the 『Yassin』 by students on LPT 2 on Saturday.

他對學生在緊急車道上祈禱事件發表意見時這麼說：「緊急車道是保留給拋錨的車子使用。」。

Rosli reminded the public to refrain from conducting activities at roads which endanger lives.

羅斯里也提醒公眾人士避免在公路做出威脅性命的舉動。

《學生大道旁祈禱引發爭議》

日前，社交媒體瘋傳一張一群師生在第二東海岸大道（LPT2）旁集體祈禱的照片，引起強烈爭議。登嘉樓州教育總監沙夫魯丁（Shafruddin Ali Hussin）斥責教師沒有顧及學生安全，也透露有關當局已經著手調查事故。

「他們理應敏感和謹慎點，這樣的活動會危機他們的安全。他們應該到附近的休息站祈禱，那裡比較安全和舒適。」

沙夫魯丁表示，當局將在近期內，傳召負責老師前去解釋。

據悉，這批學生來自瓜拉登嘉樓一所宗教學校，他們是在教師帶領下，前往甘馬挽（Kemaman）旅行。他們一行人共有35名學生，以及3名教師。

返回瓜拉登嘉樓途中，教師突然吩咐司機停車，以讓他們與學生在大道旁祈禱。相關畫面被人拍攝下來，並上載到網絡，隨即引起網民熱議。
