（吉隆坡23日訊）人民信託基金局（MARA）主席兼巫統最高理事丹斯里安努亞慕沙指出，倘若不是巫統最後決定不在劉蝶廣場、茨廠街以及武吉免登示威，513種族衝突事件必定重演，所以是巫統制止了這場流血事件。

他將紅衫軍在916大馬日當天走上街頭一事歸咎於凈選盟4.0集會，指集會者踩踏馬來領袖肖像以及帶掃把的行為觸怒馬來人，所以紅衫軍才決定上街示威。

他說，紅衫軍原本還未決定是否要上街示威，但是考慮到馬來社會對馬來與宗教領袖的肖像被踩踏的憤怒反應後，才決定舉行集會。

「凈選盟1.0至3.0集會都沒有問題，因為它們不像凈選盟4集會，發生觸及政治與馬來人敏感的事件。」

安努亞慕沙今日召開記者會說，當發生那種事（踩踏領袖肖像），有一些人包括巫統黨員就提出舉行集會的要求，而巫統領袖必須關注這些反應。

「當事情鬧大，我們作為領袖的，就考慮到如果1萬人聚集在劉蝶廣場、茨廠街或武吉免登，將會發生什麼事？」

「我覺得一定會有人流血，重演513事件。難道我們要坐看這種事發生，令國家受到破壞？」

他說，基於上述原因，當局決定舉行一場集會讓馬來人宣洩不滿，但是又確保沒有發生不愉快的事，因此沒有在街上集會，而是集中在默布草場（Padang Merbok）。

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 — Chinese and Indians are among communities with strong racial inclinations, Tan Sri Annuar Musa said following criticism of his self-professed racism during the #Merah169 rally.

The Umno Supreme Council member said racism was only a disposition towards one’s own race and not necessarily negative, accusing those who disputed his view as hypocrites.

「The Chinese and Indians are among the many races with strong racial tendencies. That is why wherever they go and live, they will form colonies such as Little Indias and Chinatowns,」 he wrote on Facebook.

「They also fight to preserve their culture, language and education system. Malays are also like that,」 he added.

He then repeated his argument that prejudice towards one’s race was encouraged and that it was only jingoism that was forbidden in Islam.

During the #Merah169 rally on September 16, Annuar admitted that he, along with the 「Himpunan Rakyat Bersatu」 was 「racist」 in nature, but insisted that this was still in line with Islamic teachings.

He maintained that acting in defence of Malay honour was permitted in Islam so long as other races were not oppressed in the process.

This led to calls for the Malaysian Islamic authorities to take action against him for depicting Islam as amenable to racism.

The #Merah169 rally was marred by sporadic incidents of racism, primarily featuring the phrase 「Cina babi」.
