凱里想跟政治老鳥鬥嘴，明顯還差了幾條街！

凱里昨天公開放話勸請民主行動黨全國顧問林吉祥、土著團結黨主席敦馬哈迪及公正黨實權領袖安華應該儘早退出政壇讓路年輕人；因為他們長期霸住領導位置，不但令年輕人無法上位，也成為人民分裂的源頭。

然而凱里萬萬沒有想到，林吉祥輕輕一招回馬槍，立刻就讓他啞口無言了！

林吉祥反問凱里：你的意思是不是也要求伊斯蘭黨主席哈迪阿旺立刻退出政壇？還有巫統元老東姑拉沙里呢？你也是在說他是老頑固、老不死嗎？

林吉祥說，凱里認為現年92歲的敦馬哈迪；即將滿70歲的安華，還有已經76歲的他，都太老了，沒有用了，應該退休了。那麼，現在跟巫統Abang Adik的伊斯蘭黨主席哈迪阿旺又如何？他也已經70高齡了，也在領導位置上很久了；還有巫統吉蘭丹化望生國會議員東姑拉沙里也已經80歲了，也長期霸住化望生國會議席幾十年了，是不是也應該退休啦？

林吉祥揶揄凱里：為什麼你只敢提敦馬、安華和我年紀太大應該退休，卻不敢說哈迪阿旺和姑里的名字呢？有口講別人，沒口說自己嗎？

林伯伯還接著問凱里：是不是因為哈迪阿旺代表伊斯蘭黨向巫統道歉臣服了，拼勁全力為納吉的一馬醜聞護航，才令你不敢提他的名字呀？做人哪，雙重標準是不行的咧。

Do you want Hadi and Ku Li to quit too, Kit Siang asks Khairy?

PETALING JAYA: Does Khairy Jamaluddin believe that PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang should also retire from politics for the same reason that he urged three other senior opposition politicians to quit?

That’s the question raised by DAP’s Lim Kit Siang, who was one of the other three senior politicians named by the youth and sports minister, with the other two being PPBM chairman Dr Mahathir Mohamad and PKR leader, Anwar Ibrahim.

Chiding the Umno Youth chief for his 「confused thinking and insensible expression」 in asking Mahathir, 92, and Anwar, who turns 70 in a few months, to quit, Lim, 76, reminded Khairy that Hadi will join the 70s club soon too.

「I am the only septuagenarian but I will be joined by Anwar and the PAS president, Hadi Awang in the next few months. So, why mention Anwar while omitting Hadi?

「Is it because Hadi has become a close pal and foremost apologist for Prime Minister Najib Razak, and is expected to defend Najib in all the financial scandals and abuses of power in the Najib administration?

「Has Khairy also forgotten octogenarian Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah who turned 80 in April this year?」 Lim said in a statement today, referring to the Umno veteran and Gua Musang MP who is more popularly known as Ku Li.

Yesterday, Khairy was reported as saying by Bernama that the three opposition politicians should retire from politics as they would continue to divide the people if they did not do so.

Speaking to the media after opening the Wangsa Maju Umno Wanita, Youth and Puteri delegates conference in Kuala Lumpur, the Rembau MP said Mahathir and Anwar, both former Umno leaders, were seen attempting to divide the Malays to achieve their own vested interests, while Lim, was trying to create a rift between the Malays and Chinese.
