隨著紅衣山番頭子惹瑪落網，警方一共逮捕了13個紅衣山番領袖。

雖然警方也同樣逮捕了凈選盟主席瑪利亞陳、秘書曼迪星、行動黨領袖劉天球與陸兆福；不過《燒魚佬》的落網與凈選盟主席瑪利亞陳等人的被捕，性質完全不同。

警方逮捕瑪利亞陳的罪名是莫須有，完全是濫用惡法的情況下抓人；但是燒魚佬惹瑪被捕卻是因為他不但觸犯煽動罪，還有刑事罪！

根據英文星報的報導，號稱將號召30萬紅衣山番上街欺凌凈選盟參與者的惹瑪是因為涉及9月13日在安邦購物中心Ampang Point內煽動群眾暴亂衝突，涉嫌襲警而被逮捕。

惹瑪當時不斷發表充滿血腥恐嚇言論，包括《要將凈選盟成員剁成肉醬》；《要以血還血》；《任何紅衣人只要製造騷亂被警方逮捕，都能獲得我獎賞》等等不負責任的流氓言論，找來全民撻伐。而惹瑪這些天到處為非作歹尤其還針對華人不斷發表恐嚇的言語時，馬華的地方領袖都隨伺在側；很明顯的，馬華繼續死性不改，助紂為虐！

根據消息，惹瑪昨天下午兩點原本要在吉隆坡國家清真寺舉行記者招待會宣布與凈選盟對乾的進一步詳情，但是當記者聞風而來，苦等大半個小時都不見惹瑪現身。後來惹瑪的助理才告知記者們，惹瑪因為某些事故，無法來到現場了。

事實上，根據內幕消息透露，當時的惹瑪已經收到風，知道警方已經在現場等他現身就立即逮捕，所以他被嚇得不敢出現，開始與警方玩捉迷藏。

第二次的記者招待會原訂在晚上10點舉行，地點同樣是在國家清真寺，但是時間到了，燒魚佬惹瑪依舊不敢現身！這已經是他第二次潛逃！而這一次警方已經不客氣，在現場大動作逮捕了12名紅衣山番小頭目。

第三次惹瑪終於逃不過了！他以為躲在酒店房間就不會遇到警方，誰知道警方人員畢竟不是吃素的，惹瑪半夜1點半就被警方人員敲房門逮捕歸案。

據悉，惹瑪被帶到雪州沙亞南警察總部扣留，並在今早10點帶往安邦推事庭申請扣留令；估計惹瑪至少將會被扣留7天。

得知消息的大馬人民頓時不約而同鬆了一口氣，都認為紅黃集會爆發流血衝突的可能性已經大大降低；隨著紅衣山番13個流氓頭子被捕，紅衣猴子們沒了帶頭大哥，群猴無首；已經成不了氣候。

Bersih 5: Jamal Yunos detained

Red Shirts leader Datuk Seri Jamal Yunos, who had twice 「slipped away」 on Friday, was detained by the police early Saturday, hours before the Bersih 5 rally was scheduled to take place.

According to one of his aides, the Sungai Besar Umno division chief was detained at about 1.30am. It is learnt that he was brought to the Selangor Police headquarters in Shah Alam.

Red Shirts legal adviser Datuk Mohd Imran Tamrin said Jamal was arrested in connection with the fracas between him and the police at Ampang Point on Nov 13.

He said Jamal would be taken to the Magistrate's court in Ampang at 10am for the police to apply for a remand order.

Jamal had called for a press conference twice on Friday, but failed to turn up both times.

The first was supposed to have taken place after he had scheduled a 2pm 「pep talk」 for his supporters at a Red Shirts gathering at the National Mosque in Kuala Lumpur.

Sources close to Jamal told the waiting media that he was 「unreachable」 for the time being and his whereabouts were unknown. He had also left 100 of his supporters waiting.

The second press conference was scheduled for 10pm, also at Masjid Negara.

Jamal’s no-show came as police went on a sweep, arresting 12 people linked to the rallies taking place Saturday.

Most were activists or members of opposition parties and Bersih 2.0, the non-governmental organisation behind Bersih 5, the fifth such street demonstration since 2007 calling for free and fair elections.

The Red Shirts have vowed to disrupt the Bersih rally, with Jamal even threatening to spill 「blood for blood,」 and promising rewards for any of his supporters who are arrested.

Among the first to be hauled up by police were Bersih 2.0 chairman Maria Chin Abdullah and Bersih secretariat officer Mandeep Singh.

Also arrested were the DAP’s Seremban MP Anthony Loke, former Pandamaran assemblyman Ronnie Liu, and members Jimmy Wong and Lee Khai Ming.

Parti Socialis Malaysia (PSM) leader S. Arutchelvan, and activists Luqman Nul Hakim Zul Razali, Anis Syafiqah Md Yusof and Muhammad Safwan Anang were next.

Late into Friday, Red Shirts activists Razali Zakaria and Ariffin Abu Bakar were also taken in.
