亞航總裁東尼弗南德斯：我對大馬足總總會長職位毫無興趣，你們何必緊張？

亞航總裁東尼今日宣布，他對大馬足球總會總會長職位一點興趣都沒有，根本不稀罕，那些依靠足總吸血養得腦滿腸肥的利益團體大可不必緊張。

他提出三個理由說明自己不可能出任大馬足總會長：

第一：我從來不說馬來話。

第二：他們從來不曾問過我的意見。

第三：你們認為他們會聽我的話嗎？

東尼是在上星期四的一項電視訪談中說過，如果他們要求我接任大馬足總會長職，他或許會考慮。

無論如何，東尼今天被問起這話時微笑說，有些人已經過度解讀了這句話。

昨日，青年體育部長凱里第一時間回應表示，東尼在獻議自己執掌大馬足總之前，應該首先熟讀大馬足總的章程。

大馬足總是長期屬於彭亨州王室統領的體育組織。自從前任總會長韓沙卸任後就一直由彭亨蘇丹擔任主席長達30年，2014年卸任後由彭亨王儲接任迄今。

由於大馬足總內某些權貴長期霸占領導位置，貪污腐敗的問題叢生，導致大馬國家足球隊水準一落千丈；連一向被視為《魚腩》的弱旅寮國柬埔寨都可以在賽場上任意屠殺大馬足球隊。2016年7月公布的世界足球排行榜中，馬來西亞進一步下跌到第175位；簡直慘不忍睹。

最近柔佛王儲東姑伊斯干達也曾公開批評大馬足總病情嚴重；他直指足總內部幾位高官早就應該被開除；殿下還將一個據說儲存了足總貪污證據的USB交給青年體育部長凱里。

若大馬足總依然不肯進行大刀闊斧的改革，繼續任由貪婪的蛆蟲緊緊依附著母體大肆吸血；則大馬足總將形同癌症末期的病患一樣，只能等死了。

看看東尼隨便一句話，就馬上令那些貪婪腐敗份子大為緊張失措的情形看來，大馬足總內部的超級惡性腫瘤，確實已經無藥可治。

No interest in being FAM president, says Tony Fernandes

KUALA LUMPUR: AirAsia boss Tony Fernandes has declared that he has no interest in becoming president of the Football Association of Malaysia.

On Friday, he had been reported as saying on Astro Arena: 「If I』m asked about taking up the presidency, I will consider it,」

However, he told the New Straits Times yesterday that it was a long shot.

「I have no interest,」 said Fernandes, who owns English club Queens Park Rangers. 「One, I don』t speak Malay. Two, they won』t even ask me. Three, do you think they would listen to me?」

He said his reaction on Thursday may have been blown out of proportion after being asked an impromptu question after an AirAsia function in Bangkok.

He laughed off suggestions that he should consider the post seriously, NST Online reported.

Yesterday, sports minister Khairy Jamaluddin said Fernandes should understand FAM’s constitutional procedures before offering himself.

The football association has been under criticism about the performance of the national team, while Johor’s Tunku Mahkota, Tunku Ismail Sultan Iskandar, has said that certain people in the FAM leadership should step down because of allegations of wrongdoing.

The president of FAM is Pahang crown prince Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, who took over in 2014 from his father, who had been president for 30 years.

Malaysian football plunged to 175th place in the FIFA world rankings two months ago.
