Re: Damaged But Repaird New Car Delivered To Customer
Dear Sir/Madam,
Refer to the above, I would like to make a serious complaint about the new car delivered to me, without my knowledge, is a damaged but repaired car. The details of the car is as below.
Model : Honda Jazz V (GK589FE)
Colour : Taffeta White
Chassis No : PMHGK5890FD505351
Engine No : L15Z25905330
Dealer : Angkasa Motor Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The car was delivered to me on 15/03/27. The car seem to be in good condition. On 15/04/08, I sent my car to a shop for windows tinted, and I was told by the technician that the new car has been damaged and repaired before it was delivered to me. On a close look, I could notice that the tone of the colour is different between the damaged but repaired part and the body. Kindly refer to the attached photos.
I have made complaint to the dealer on 15/04/09, and subsequently I was asked to complaint to Honda Malaysia, which I did so on 15/04/10. Honda Malaysia responded on 15/04/17 and offer to repair the damage, which I am not satisfied with the offer.
I was quite concern as the damaged but repaired part is where the air bag placed. Will the air bag function properly in case of an accident? Is my safety during an accident be protected? The damaged part is also the front pillar of the car, will the damaged but repaired pillar be able to support the car roof top?
I have questioned the Honda Malaysia,
1) Why an inferior car can be delivered to a customer?
2) Why Honda Malaysia covered up the damage?
3) Is this the normal practice of a renowned brand like Honda to do so, by sweeping the problem underneath the carpet, hoping that the customer does not aware of the problem?
4) Is Customer’s satisfaction not a main concern to Honda Malaysia?
5) Is Quality not a main concern to Honda Malaysia?
Honda Malaysia could not answer all these questions. I am very disappointed with the offer of Malaysia Honda, just simply repaired the damaged car. I am buying a NEW car, not a DAMAGED but REPAIRED NEW car.
I am complaining to Honda Japan hopefully Honda Japan will look into this matter seriously, and put customer’s concern, satisfaction, safety in the first place.
