Hey my friend, please don』t ask me to take you to the 5 eateries below when you visit Malacca. They are good, but I am not going to take you there. If you really so interested in them, here are some basic information for you. I drop you nearby, and please go ahead yourself.

Satay Celup will be always in the MUST-TRY list during the first visit of a traveller to Malacca. Capital Satay Celup is the most well-known and also the pioneer who serve Satay Celup food in the old town area. The shop is rather small, with maybe not more than 10 tables, but the crowd is crazy. This is why you would always see long queue after the day getting dark.

So, the reason I refuse to take you there is very simple, I hate to queue up long. Haha.

佳必多沙嗲應該使每個來馬六甲旅行的旅者都回歸類為必吃的其中一個吃點。它是馬六甲最有名的兩家沙嗲celup的其中之一，也是最早經營沙嗲celup食檔的先驅。沙嗲串選擇很多，有海鮮、肉類、丸子類、蔬菜等等，用來汆燙食物串的沙嗲醬也很香濃，可惜的就是因為開在老街區、店鋪比較小，大概只能擺上約莫10張桌子，導致外頭老是大排長龍。

為什麼拒絕前往？因為排隊隊伍極度誇張。我討厭排隊。

Another eatery place where the queue is as crazy as Capitol Satay Celup will be the Chung Hua Hainanese Chicken. One of the oldest Hainanese Chichen Rice Restaurant selling chicken rice ball, located at the entrance of Jonker Street, besides Malacca River, the queue can even goes up until the bridge crossing the river. If you really want to try their chicken rice ball, go early, then the queue maybe shorter… Rice and chicken is averagely good, many give good reviews about their homemade chili sauce. I loved them when they were not so famous when I was still a kid.

So, again it is because the long queue that stop me from accompanying you to taste the delicacy. I am very sorry about that, but you could go yourself with the information below..

另一個遊客一定要打卡的就是開在機場街入口處，馬六甲河邊，三叔公對面的中華雞飯店。這是其中一家最早開始賣海南雞飯糰的店家。雞飯和雞肉都處理得不錯，但是要說有什麼特別的，喜歡吃辣的朋友，應該會很喜歡他們家的辣椒（我自己就挺喜歡）。很多年前當店家名氣不那麼大的時候很愛光顧，但是幾乎成為旅遊景點之後，排隊排到金生橋上的情景，常常讓我卻步。

為什麼拒絕前往？因為排隊隊伍極度誇張。

Often with queue or long queue too, they sell Baba Laksa and Nyonya Laksa, which were my favourite once in the past. The restaurant has preserved the original structure of Malacca old house, and decorated with lots of vintage stuffs. Their cendol and rojak are also worth to try if you get your seat successfully.

Again, possible long queue is the reason I dare not to bring you there. But if there is no queue when we pass by the street, then it is no problem to dine in for lunch or dinner. ^^

大寶小食就在雞場街中段，與地理學家餐廳兩相望，賣的是峇峇娘惹小食。Baba Laksa、Nyonya Laksa、Cendol、Rojak等，在比較正式的峇峇娘惹餐廳比較難找到的小食，在這裡都很受歡迎。以前很常光顧，想吃娘惹食物又不想花大錢的時候它就是最佳選擇。但是近年來一樣因為媒體大肆宣傳的關係，三不五時就會發現一堆人頂著大太陽在排隊……

為什麼拒絕前往？因為排隊隊伍極度誇張。不過如果剛好在老街閒逛，經過他們店門口發現竟然沒有太擁擠的時候，我還是可以陪你進去坐坐的~

The famous Longkang Siham is situated at off Jalan Bunga Raya, the back alley of some shops near Madame King Shopping Mall. They operate at night and is crowded especially during weekend and holiday. The most special thing of them is the traditional way of eating. It seems like less and less Chinese food stall serving food like them, the way where our ancestors normally ate their lunch or dinner, by squatting and sitting on a low chair and have your food on the low table. The food they serve are some streets food like cockles, clams, squid kangkung, bbq squid and rojak. All the food are prepared by just boiling in a big pot of boiled water and you need to dip and eat with the special sauce they provide. 2 stalls in the back alley, both taste good and the price is also quite cheap.Back Alley Longkang Siham

So why am I refused to take you there? Because it is too crowded and you need to wait for seats.

俗稱溝渠西蚶（Longkang Siham）的武牙拉惹（Bunga Raya）後巷美食，也是旅人遊客經常齊聚一堂的地方。這裡一共有兩個食攤，售賣的都是相似的食物，例如西蚶、拉拉、海蝸牛、魷魚蕹菜等等。大部分的食物都是以熱水稍微汆燙過後就直接上桌，食菜新鮮所以不會腥味太重，配合特製蘸醬，迷倒一眾食客味蕾。最有趣的地方就是這裡還保留早期中國人南來生活，習慣在路邊蹲坐在矮凳上用餐的習慣，所以除了享用美食，到這裡來的旅人，多多少少也為了見證曾經大家都習以為常的舊時代生活方式。但是除非很早就來等店家開檔，不然通常都需要在桌子旁邊等位子，然後你坐下之後又會發現其他人在你旁邊或你身後等你的位子。

為什麼拒絕前往？因為要等位子。

Klebang Coconut Milk Shake 椰子冰沙

They sold coconut milk shake just beside the road heading to Klebang beach, a small and tiny stall, without any seat, you could only take away or finished it by the road. And a few years after that, lots of people wrote reviews on them, positive reviews all the while. Then the stall turned to a 「Drive-Through」 station on the roadside, and they moved into the Malay village with more than 20 tables and a HUGE private car park. I would say, they are the legend in Malacca.

You would not need to queue, but during holiday, the road towards Klebang Coconut Milk Shake will undergo severe jam as if in KL. Normally I would only take not more than 15 minutes to reach, during holiday, it would take an hour. That’s it. I hate traffic jam.

最先開始在賣椰子冰沙的是距離馬六甲市區不遠的吉里望海灘大路旁的一個小攤子。我記得那時攤位很小，就是在一棵樹下隨便搭起的棚子，不設座位，大家要嘛外帶要嘛站著喝完。前幾年開始因為許多網友推薦所以竄紅，以致原先的路邊小攤幾乎變成了Drive-through站，然後總店搬到馬來甘榜裡頭比較大塊的土地上，老闆在住家旁搭建了比較大的棚子，擺上至少20桌，而且還有很大的私人停車場，超級誇張。

在這裡不用排隊，因為位子很多。但是我還是不想在假日的時候陪你去，因為前往吉里望海灘的路會霎時變得超級塞車（我也不知道是不是因為椰子冰沙的關係）。本來明明15分鐘不到可以抵達的距離，偏偏得在車龍里耗上1整個小時，不幹！

為什麼拒絕前往？因為假日塞車很嚴重。
