FUNNY THINGS AT AIRPORTS

For most of us, airports are the place we are forced to visit before we go on magical vacations to exotic destinations. Or sometimes, just a necessary stop on the way back home.

Airports bring out all sort of emotions and behaviors and we spotted some of the weirdest moments.

In this sense, the airport can be exciting because you』ll never know what you』ll see: a celeb on the go, Santa himself or a homeless.

So, lay back and take a look at our crazy sights spotted around airports. Have you ever seen anything crazier?

SANTA HIMSELF

No, you』re not mistaken, you are looking at Santa, at the airport. What business does he have been there? Is his reindeer slide broken? Does he have to take a plane in order to deliver all of our gifts on times? Can he make it? For some reason it seems that he’s in trouble, was he trying to smuggle some illegal gifts? We』ll never know, but it sure is a crazy sight.

MINKA KELLY

If you imagined all celebrities on private jets and don』t have to come to the airport like us commoners, you』re in for a surprise. Minka Kelly was spotted passing through security is an airport, as if she’s a regular person just like the rest of us. But, unlike the rest of us, Kelly managed to look gorgeous while traveling for many hours. You go, girl!

HOMECOMING

Sometimes, if you』re lucky, you have people waiting for you at the airport, if you』re even luckier, they』ve made a cool sign for you, showing how much they missed you. But some families seem to take it too far, like this family that prepared a sign for the mom who got back from vacation but was pranked by her family – for the whole airport to see.

SLEEPY PASSENGER

We』ve all done it, maybe our flight had been delayed or canceled and we were stuck in the airport, incredibly tired and we had to find creative ways to get our beauty sleep. Well, this passenger has won the award for creative sleeping, making these uncomfortable airport chairs her bed. We』re really impressed by her ability to sleep like that, but we』re sure she’s gonna wake up with a backache.

SUITCASE KID

When we were young and traveled with our family, we all liked utilizing airport carts for our own good, making them too heavy for our poor parents to carry. But this child found a creative solution, instead of sleeping on the airport cart like a noob, she went straight for the suitcase and left her dad to carry both of them. What’s truly amazing is that it seems the child has actually managed to fall asleep in this position. Some children are truly talented.

ANOTHER SUITCASE KID?

Well, guess we have a trend here, parents carry their children on their suitcase like that. This kid is wide awake and seems to be enjoying the ride, and we can』t blame her, this looks like fun!

OOPS I DID IT AGAIN

Well, airplane crashes are obviously a series matter and are not funny at all, but you must admit that this one is just so crazy it’s actually funny. The pilot landed this plane probably missed the 「How to park the plane」 Class in pilot school, otherwise, how can you explain this?

KARDASHIAN ACTION

Again, you would assume someone as famous as Kim Kardashian

would fly in their own private jet, but no! Kim and her baby were spotted in an airport, both completely barefoot. But hey, Kim can pull off almost every look, including this weird airport one.

WRONG DIRECTION

Turkish Airlines are already not the most trusted airline to fly with (even though they do give you a delicious Turkish delight before going on the plane) but this poster has just gone too far. Did nobody notice the plane is going in the wrong direction? This direction makes people think about crashes and not about successfully and safely reaching their destination…change it, please.

JEWISH JAW-DROP

This one is just priceless, this respectable religious man has no idea that his bottom half has a picture of a women in underwear, making it look like he has a big secret he’s hiding from his community. This picture of a Hassidic Jew has defiantly had us dropping our jaws and bursting out in laughter.

PLAYING IT COOL

At one time or another during our lives, we all could have been found playing a stupid game or wasting time on Facebook instead of actually doing our job. The thing is when your job is to serve people is real time, this can be challenging, but if this guy can do it all, serve the bored passengers while killing it in his game of Solitaire, who are we to judge? We just hope he’s not responsible for airport security.

BOMBING BABY

Getting through airport security is always a hassle, everybody is treated like a crazy terrorist who’s probably trying to blow up the airport. You have to show them the content of your luggage, and in extreme cases even strip down. But getting a baby to go through scanning is an all-time low.

AIRPORT LOVE

Airports are tough places to spend a long time in, and sometimes you just have to. This is why we really can』t blame this couple for supporting each other in these rough times, and honestly, out of all the other sights we』ve seen in airports, this one actually gives us hope for mankind.

SHORT KISSES ONLY

Some of the airport staff are probably really bitter and has a problem with PDA. Which is why someone placed this sign forbidding people to kiss for more than three minutes. On the one hand, we think it’s a reasonable request, but on the other hand, we all know that saying goodbye is hard and letting go of a loved one who’s about to go for a long time is almost impossible. This sign is reasonable but also a bit mean-spirited, and honestly it probably just makes people want to kiss longer.

FREE ENTERTAINMENT

Boredom can sometimes bring out the best in people, like this case, where the two bored guys waiting for their flight decided to put on an acrobatic show to entertain themselves and all of the other passengers. Honestly, there’s nothing like a free show!

AIR-BEAR

It’s not rare to see Alaska’s wildlife next to Alaska’s planes. While it might be dangerous for the bear, and he should be removed from the airport immediately, you have to admit the sight is pretty cute and that there’s nothing like seeing animals without having to pay for a zoo ticket.

SUSHI SUITCASE

When we get off the plane, we all want to find our suitcase super-fast and then leave the airport as soon as possible. That’s why some people invest in special looking suitcases, but Sushi suitcases are something we』ve never seen before. The problem is, in this picture all of the suitcases look like Sushi, so how do you know which one is yours?

FLYING WITH POKÉMON

We all loved Pokémon as children and tried to convince our parents to buy us everything Pokémon themed. But we』ve since grown up, and Pokémon has really gotten old. But, for some reason, someone decides Pokémon themed airplanes are a good idea, and we have to admit while we were opposed to it at first, upon seeing it we think it’s adorable. We just wish these airplanes would take us to a place where Pokémons actually exist.

TMI

「Welcome home」 signs are truly heart-warming, but sometimes it’s better to leave out intimate details when creating these signs. Now everybody at the airport knows grandma has a drinking problem, which is usually not something you would want to share.

AIRPORT YOGA

We should all make sure we stretch out before going on a long flight. But this girl took it to the next level, doing crazy yoga poses in the middle of the airport. This girl knows how to have some fun and it’s definitely not the worst sight we』ve seen in an airport. Namaste!

TWINS

We all want to be able to recognize our luggage, but this man has taken it too far, putting his face on his suitcase, making it his identical twin. This is definitely on the bizarre side of airport sights but at least this guy knows no one will be able to get away with stealing his suitcase and honestly, we can』t imagine anyone who would want to.

WHO NEEDS A BLANKET?

Sometimes, sleeping at an airport is just necessary, but the problem with airports is they don』t always have everything you need in order to get a good sleep, like blankets and pillows. But this guy found a creative solution, who needs a cozy blanket when you can just use a couple of newspapers to cover yourself? The newspapers also allow this sleepy passenger to enjoy his anonymity, and if he wakes up, he can also use the newspaper to actually read the news.

PENGUINS PASSING THROUGH

How did these cute Penguins get to the airport? We』re glad you asked. Well, they were retrieved from evil bird hunters who tried to take them away. Luckily, the Penguins were allowed to use a plane to get back home, but just like everybody else, they had to pass through airport security first, which makes for one of the cutest sights we』ve seen at an airport.

SLEEPY DAD

We all know, all parents are perpetually tired, and honestly, we sympathize with them, children can be a lot to handle, especially at an airport. Which is why we don』t blame this dad for falling asleep, leaving his daughters unsupervised. The problem is, these two lovely daughters are not as considerate as we are and they decided to seize the opportunity and cover dad with a bunch of silly looking stickers. Poor fellow! But what can you do? Girls will be girls.

SLEEPING OR JUST PASSED OUT?

The problem with this picture is that we』re not sure if this woman found herself the best spot to sleep in, where no one will interrupt her, or maybe, for some reason she just passed out at an airport, in which case, someone better call an ambulance, fast! Either way, we really hope she won』t miss her flight.

BABY GOT BACK

We all want to feel comfortable on the plane, maybe get some sleep if it’s a long flight. Most of us opt for the perfect, simple solution of a travel pillow.

CREATIVE SLEEPING

We』re considering changing the name of this list to 「Creative ways people found to sleep at an airport」. Well, here’s another picture of a tired dude who just wanted to find the most comfortable way to sleep while waiting for his plane and he did! Who knew suitcase can make such great pillows? This guy, apparently.

GERMAPHOBE ALERT

We all want to stay healthy and make sure we stay away from germs, but we all know some people who just have to take it to the next level. Well, this guy took it to the next, next level with both a mask and a plastic suit. Well, he might not catch a cold or some sort of disease, but he sure as hell going to sweat a lot!

PILOT SELFIE?!

Don』t you sometimes feel that people took this whole selfie thing too far? Well if you do, we can』t wait to see your response to this selfie, taken by a pilot who popped his head out of the plane. At first, we were scared and shocked, this picture is beautiful, but it also looks incredibly dangerous. But, like most things online, it turns out this photo was actually photo-shopped. At least everyone is safe.

FALCON GALORE

Sure, sometimes when you』re on a plane, the person sitting next to you is super rude or annoying and it just ruins your whole flight but what happens when the person sitting next to you is not a person at all, but a bird? What would you do if you got on a plane and found out half of the passengers are actually birds?
