新加坡藝人【白薇秀】出事了！快來看看發生了什麼狀況？？

新加坡的怪事可真多，其中最受熱議的就是新加坡的語言。說起英語，新加坡還真的挺傲嬌的，直接宣稱：「誰說新加坡的語言不好聽？全世界都在講Singlish～」；談及華語，也是常常讓人哭笑不得，普通話里摻雜著Singlish單詞、廣東話、福建話......前兩天萬事通剛和大家分享了「新加坡中文太魔性，我已喪失說普通話的能力~」，引發了網友們的熱烈留言。

但是，新加坡的人們卻依然以其獨成一派的語言感到無比自豪，新傳媒藝人白薇秀因在節目中把華語講得太標準，反而遭到了嘲諷、批評。

白薇秀產後復出拍攝的電視劇《夢想程式》剛開始熱播，就遭到了網友們的嘲諷，很多網友在網路論壇，甚至白薇秀的Facebook上，質疑白薇秀「為何突然用『中國口音』來演戲」，甚至還嘲諷她是故意裝出來的。

針對網友們的質疑、批判，白薇秀正式通過Instagram發文做出了澄清。

It's been 2 years since my last drama and many things havechanged in my life. I've had the opportunity to be exposed todifferent cultures and a much bigger world out there during myhiatus. Some of you think that I've put on a "native Chinese"accent on Dreamcoder, that is currently airing on Channel 8. Forthe record, it wasn't put on, it was actually the most natural wayfor me to speak when I was shooting the drama having been away fromSingapore for a while, so I understand that some of you may not beused to it. It is the proper way of speaking Mandarin that I am notashamed of, but it still wouldn't be good enough by CCTV standardof Mandarin if that was what some of you meant by "native Chineseaccent". Also, if you have travelled enough in China, you wouldknow that native Chinese have many different accents too, someheavily nuanced with their respective dialects. Having said that, Iam proud of my Singaporean roots and I consider myself aSingaporean speaking proper Mandarin, not a Singaporean trying tobe Chinese. I have had first hand experience with industryprofessionals in the larger film markets who are prejudiced againstSingaporean actors because of our "Singaporean accent", so whilesome of you may want to continue picking on my current Mandarinaccent to have an issue with, I have my sights set further. Formyself and my children, I hope to speak proper English &Mandarin so I can be a good example for them to do so too, becausethe future is global and the possibilities for them are no longerrestricted geographically. I hope they'd be ready when the timecomes, it's my gift for my future generation.！

白薇秀澄清說，她的口音並不是可以裝出來的，而是她拍戲時最自然最正常的說話方式，她表示自己離開新加坡有一段時間了，因此可能有些網友不太明白理解她的習慣。她堅持強調，目前自己說的是「標準華語」，雖然尚未達到《央視》的華語水準；她覺得世界越來越國際化，所以她希望為孩子做好榜樣、講一口流利的英語和華語，幫助他們對未來做好準備。

她表示並不會應為一些網友的嘲諷而感到羞愧，而應該把視野放得更遠。她還做了一些特別分享，其實在電影娛樂圈，有些專業人士會因「新加坡口音」而對新加坡演員產生偏見。

她宣稱，「我為來自新加坡而感到自豪，是說標準華語的新加坡人，而非想要做中國人的新加坡人。」

她的帖子已經發布，便得到了很多人的力挺，其中包括新加坡藝人陳炯江和台灣F4成員吳建豪的新加坡籍太太石貞善（新加坡富二代圈子的名人）。
