中國日報網1月2日電 （信蓮）據美國中文網報道，日前，美國達美航空公司的一名飛行員，用他的暖心之舉感動了大家。他在駕駛飛機起飛以後，果斷調轉機頭重新回到登機口，讓菲尼克斯一位母親和她的孩子們順利登機，趕往孩子們的父親的葬禮。

這名母親名叫瑪西亞，與她結婚32年的丈夫56歲，死於肺癌。她的丈夫生前希望自己能和自己的家族葬在一起。她丈夫的遺體在2015年12月19日被運到了位於田納西州的孟菲斯，而12月20日就是葬禮的日子。

但是，因為瑪西亞和孩子們12月19日的班機延遲，導致他們錯過了轉機。瑪西亞的女兒在臉譜網（Facebook）上對記者說：「那種絕望和痛心真無法用語言描述。」當時，他們哭著揮手看著飛機離開登機口，希望能夠引起飛行員的注意。同時，他們請求一位地勤人員通知飛機，而對方則說一旦飛機起飛就不可能停下來。

正當瑪西亞忍住傷心安慰孩子們的時候，達美航空公司的地面工作人員忽然接到了這架飛機機長的電話，稱要返回地面接瑪西亞和孩子們。這一舉動讓瑪西亞和孩子們哭得更厲害了，不過這一次，是喜悅的淚水。

「這名機長名為亞當科恩，」瑪西亞說，「她和孩子們將永遠記住這個名字。」
