馬來西亞國防部前部長兼巫統森布隆區國會議員拿督斯里希山慕丁獻議，若有需要，他將動用個人聯絡網親自到中國把大馬年輕富商劉特佐找出來，並帶回大馬面對法律制裁和助查一馬發展公司（1MDB）弊案。

「這項行動與中央政府無關，並非源自他們的要求，我和中國領導層尚有私交和關係，若劉特佐真的人在中國，我會動用關係，確保他被帶到法庭就1MDB案面控。」

但他披露，劉特佐人在中國只是傳聞，他無法確認此事，唯若劉特佐真的在中國，他會與中國領導層協商。

「如果他們不放人，我必須知道理由。」

希山慕丁今日在國會走廊受詢指出，他會儘快動身到中國，而他也已為這項私人行動做好準備工作。

他說，把劉特佐帶回國受審是人民的訴求，此項行動無關反對黨或政府，而劉特佐是1MDB弊案關鍵人物，要獲知真相就必須把他揪出來，讓正義獲得伸張。

「若劉特佐要洗刷自己的冤屈，就應該回國面對法庭的指控，若我能夠給予幫助，就算是蚯蚓洞我也會把他挖掘出來。」

Hishammuddin Hussein has offered to track down fugitive financier Jho Low in China as he wants to see closure to the 1MDB case.

The former defence minister stressed that he is offering himself for the task in his personal capacity, and not on Putrajaya’s request.

「I personally want to see the 1MDB issue settled, and justice done.

「If Jho Low is in China, I will personally go there to bring him back to face justice, because as long as he is overseas, the 1MDB issue will not be resolved.

「…If there are rumours of me going to China, it is not upon Putrajaya’s request. I have had prior relationships with the Chinese government – if it is true Low is in China, I will make sure he is returned and produced in court,」 he told reporters at the Parliament lobby today.

Hishammuddin was responding to a question on whether he had been tasked by Putrajaya to mend ties with Beijing.
