提醒諸位司機，

警方公布了在墨爾本和Geelong地區一批新的紅燈測速照相探頭開始啟用。

從2月1日起，4個新的探頭將被安裝在一些被警方稱作關鍵的十字路口的地方。

而其他9個路口的相機將獲得升級。

比較有良心的是，昨天起在這13個路口，

警方就增設了電子標誌「Cameras now enforcing」（相機開始使用）的字樣，

接下來兩周，這些標誌都會在那裡提醒司機注意。

去年10月，Narre Warren和Yarraville地區已經啟動了兩個新的探頭。

今年3月還要多增加兩個，具體地址還未透露。

當然，政府否認了增加探頭是為了「搶錢」，一年超過8000萬的罰單，

平均每83秒就有個司機被「咔嚓」來交錢，一切都是為了安全啊。

不過小編提醒大家：

維州闖紅燈，

一次罰 $379，還要扣3分。

超速則按超多少罰款$190到$758不等。

所以為了你的生命和錢包，在過這些路口的時候千萬悠著點踩油門！

新紅燈測速照相探頭位置：

Springvale Road and Canterbury Road, Forest Hill Maroondah Highway and Ringwood Bypass, Ringwood Plenty Road and Dunne Street, Kingsbury Canterbury Road and Mitcham Road, Vermont 

升級探頭的位置：

North Road and Clayton Road, Oakleigh East Barkers Road and Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn Murray Road and Elizabeth Street, Coburg Pascoe Vale Road and Peck Avenue, Strathmore Thompson Road and Separation Street, Bell Park Princes Highway and Station Street, Corio Settlement Road and Torquay Road, Belmont Moorabool Street and Fyans Street, South Geelong McIvor Road and Reservoir Road, Strathdale
