世界紀錄!中國高鐵以420公里每小時的速度交會

BEIJING: Two Chinese trains running at world-record speeds in opposite directions today crossed each other on parallel tracks, in the latest feat achieved by China in high-speed rail.

The two trains – 「Golden Phoenix」 and 「Dolphin Blue」 – travelling at 420 km per hour crossed on lines between Zhengzhou in the central Henan Province and Xuzhou in the eastern Jiangsu Province.

中國高鐵實現最新的創舉。兩列中國動車以世界紀錄的速度迎面交會。兩列動車,分別是「土豪金」與「藍海豚」,在鄭徐線上以420公里的時速交會。

The experiment set a world-first for trains travelling at such speed, Zhou Li, head of the technological management department of China Railway Corporation, told state-run Xinhua news agency.

Zhou said the achievement, using homegrown trains, demonstrated that China has fully mastered the core technology of high-speed trains.

China has built over 16,000 kms of high-speed train tracks connecting most of the major cities.

It is now lobbying hard to export its high-speed train technology to India and several other places.

中國鐵建技術管理部門的主任對新華社記者說,兩列動車以如此快的速度交會為世界首次。列車是自主研製的,表明中國完全掌握了高鐵的核心技術。

目前,中國已經修建了超過1.6萬公里的高鐵,主要大城市被高鐵連接了起來如今,中國在積極遊說,向印度以及其他幾個國家輸出高鐵列車技術。

I don」t think 420KMPH is highest speed and a world record! I read news some months back Japan has recorded speed of 604 KMPH as world record.

We just need to get the technology and not the coaches which we can build if we know the technology. We are no where near to get it as we need separate lines for those trains and getting land in any state is a major issue these days and with congress in the oppn will never allow land acquisition for any govt based development projects unless they have a big cut for their party and people. we need to revise our train timings to make sure that it benefits more people and connects major districts and states we need more trains that can be divided into blocks all over india

We cannot trust China at all even if they say they would build the super fast rail network at half the cost of Japan. They would bug them such that we would not be able to use them at the time of crisis. We need to improve our infrastructure but more the way Japan and Germany have not the way china has.

Can India develop it」s own bullet trains? Yes certainly. Will India develop it」s own bullet trains? Here the answer leans towards 「no」 because lack of leadership from top level over the decades and continued by the great Narendra Modi. Yet if the program is developed, in less than a decade India could have it」s own bullet trains, totally indigenous and at a fraction of cost of that from Japan」s outdated technology that it is offering.

India can reach where China is today. But India needs to build its infrastructure. We need high speed rail connecting our major cities and six lane/eight lane highways connecting them. India needs to build new cities to accommodate its growing population and increasing rural-urban migration. Let us also invest in quality education for producing young engineers, doctors, MBAs etc.. Education had played a very crucial role in transformation of countries like Japan, South Korea, Singapore and China.

But everyone will agree that average Chinese earns salary five times more than an average Indian. In reality, China」s GDP is much higher than India.
