針孔攝像頭好像是電影中才會出現的東西，其實我們的身邊也有。去年時，美國佛羅里達州警方就在3個公共廁所裡發現了帶有針孔攝像頭的掛鉤，這種掛鉤只要3英鎊（約新台幣119元），在Amazon或eBay上很容易買到。還有一種更高級的針孔攝像頭掛鉤，不僅能拍影片，還能紀錄聲音，價格大約為64.99英鎊（約新台幣2,587元）。

有人將這種掛鉤安裝在更衣室、飯店房間、公共洗手間裡，偷拍別人的隱私畫面。一眼看去，這種掛鉤和普通掛鉤沒什麼區別，近距離觀察的話就會發現掛鉤上面有一個小孔，這就是針孔攝像頭。
佛羅里達州警方提醒大家：「去公共廁所時一定要檢查一下裡面的設備。一旦發現可疑之處，請保持原樣並報警，我們會馬上處理。大家要注意，這種攝像頭很小，除了安裝在掛鉤裡，還能安裝在其他不起眼的日常用品中，一定要注意一下。」
