最近很火紅的「福祿猴」該怎麼講呢？如果直接翻譯的話，「福」是 fortune，「祿」是 prosperity，所以福祿猴是 the monkey of fortune and prosperity。但這樣講未免太長了，若參考最近的英文新聞報導，直接音譯為「Fulu Monkey」就好囉！
生肖的英文是 Chinese zodiac sign或是 Chinese animal sign，至於十二種動物的名稱如下：
Rat鼠（不能用 mouse）
Ox牛（不能用 cow）
Tiger虎
Rabbit兔
Dragon龍
Snake蛇
Horse馬
Goat羊（不能用 sheep）
Monkey猴
Rooster雞（不能用 chicken）
Dog狗
Pig豬
Year of the(填入上面的動物)可以用來表達某個生肖年：
