Proton 發布更多 2016 Persona 照片！車廂照也同時曝光！
Proton雖然目前還未正式對外推介全新的Persona，不過他們已在今天在雪蘭莪Shah Alam的Centre of Exellence（CoE）舉辦了一場媒體預覽會，並對媒體公布了大部分的新車規格，同時還讓媒體在CoE的封閉式試車場內試駕了這款國人期待已久的全新Persona。同時原廠也宣布將在本月15日開放接受預訂，並將在23日舉辦正式的新車發布會。由於原廠嚴禁在場的媒體進行拍攝，因此我們在此只能為您帶來原廠釋出的部份宣傳照。
根據原廠的公布，全新Persona共分為四個等級，分別為Standard、Executive、Premium和Premium SE，全車系都只搭配1.6升的Campro VVT引擎，沒有1.3升引擎的選擇，原廠表示這是為了要與Iriz和Saga作出明確的市場區分，避免市場重疊。在Standard和Executive等級方面可選擇無段變速箱（CVT）或五速手排，而Premium和Premium SE則只提供CVT變速箱。
外觀方面，全新Persona的車頭設計大量採用了Iriz的設計元素，頭燈造型與Iriz非常相似，但頭燈頂端多了一條連接中間水箱護罩的銀色鍍鉻飾條，頭燈組內少了投射式魚眼（Projector），前保險杆的下護罩設計也進行了一些修改，而車尾因為多了第三節車廂，因此尾燈也有了新的造型，但尾燈內已經沒有了Iriz和舊Persona的LED燈泡，採用的全是傳統燈泡。
動力配置方面，原廠表示這具1.6 Campro VVT引擎與Iriz一樣，動力輸出一樣是107hp馬力和150Nm扭矩，而且依然採用同一具的Punch CVT變速箱，但原廠表示新Persona採用了新型的行車電腦（ECU），而變速箱也經過了改良和軟體升級，原有的噪音已被大幅度抑制。原廠號稱全新Persona比Iriz重了20至30公斤，但比舊Persona輕了20公斤。
油耗方面，原廠聲稱這次經過改良的動力系統加上全車系搭配Eco Mode，讓油耗比這一代Persona進步不少，搭配CVT的新Persona比搭配四速變速箱的舊Persona進步了10%，而手排方面則進步了13%，手排版的油耗來到了每100公里只需使用5.6升汽油，而CVT版本則是6.1升。全新Persona的0到100加速成績在10.9秒，比舊Persona的11.5秒有所進步。同時原廠也強調雖然全新Persona的後煞車系統改為鼓式系統（Drum Brake），但時速100km/h的緊急煞停距離比上一代的44.6米大幅縮減到了41.4米。
在配備方面，好消息是全車系都標配車身動態穩定系統（ESC）和后座2組兒童安全座椅固定座，但入門的Standard和Executive只有2顆氣囊，必須買到較貴的Premium和Premium SE才有6氣囊。其它配備差異，入門的Standard和Executive採用灰色的15寸輪圈，較高的2個等級採用同尺寸但是銀色的輪圈。同時，Standard和Executive採用普通的音響主機，但配備了USB和藍牙功能。
最入門的Standard的側鏡和車門把沒有上漆，因此是原始的黑色，同時也沒有前霧燈。在Premium和Premium SE的專屬配備方面有皮革包覆的座椅和方向盤、結合衛星導航和倒車攝影的熒幕主機、電動收折的側鏡、後方USB充電插座、智能鑰匙和免匙啟動系統，而Premium SE版本則更是多了前後的空力套件，以及一個小鴨尾造型的尾翼。
車尾廂方面，原廠號稱新Persona的尾廂容積達到了510公升，比舊Persona的430公升大上不少，而且Executive、Premium和Premium SE的後椅背可以做60:40傾倒。原廠也在今天的活動中不斷強調全新的Persona在噪音、引擎震動和組裝品質（NVH）上都比Iriz有所進步，包括採用三點式的引擎支腳（Engine Mounting）設計，減少穿進車室內的引擎震動，同時也因此讓行車時的引擎噪音減少了6db。
原廠將在接下來的八、九和十月陸續推出3款新車，而Persona就是頭炮，不過原廠至今還沒公布全新Persona的售價，我們預計最入門Standard等級的售價會落在5萬令吉以下，而頂級Premium SE的售價也會壓在6萬令吉以內。原廠表示他們的目標是要每個月銷售3,000輛全新的Persona，我們將在稍後為您帶來更多有關新Persona的報道。
Bit by bit, Proton is teasing us with the new 2016 Persona, slated to arrive on 23 August. Let’s take at a closer look of the interior and exterior, shall we?
As we mentioned earlier, the 2016 Proton Persona will feature a dual-tone interior, featuring a black and beige colour combination. As seen from the photos, the upper half of the dashboard, door panels and seats are black in colour, while beige is found on the bottom half of the dashboard, centre console and door cards. Seat design is identical to the Iriz.
Elsewhere, our friends at Sinar Turbo mentioned that the Persona will be available in five variants, namely Standard 1.6 MT, Standard 1.6 CVT, Executive 1.6 CVT and 2 Premium 1.6 CVT variants, one with body kit and one without. Safety features, as we mentioned earlier, will comprise of ABS, EBD, BA, ESC, TC and HHA for all variants.
From the photos, we can also see that Proton has fitted front parking sensors for the Persona, which was speculated here. The front fog lights are regular halogen units, same as the main headlights. No, the 2016 Persona does not get projector units like the Iriz, but the Persona does get manual leveling, as seen earlier.
Under the hood, the 2016 Proton Persona is powered by a 1.6-litre Campro VVT mill that drives the front wheels via a Punch-sourced CVT or a five-speed Getrag-sourced manual. The inclusion of the Eco mode should see the Persona potentially obtaining EEV certification.
